About me: Lyds With Love

Hi, I’m Lydia. Some people call me Lyds. I started this because I’ve been drawn to create most of my life, and I love to see people enjoy things that I make. I learned to sew from my mother when I was a child, but only recently has it become a very productive hobby. As I continue to make things, I’ve been encouraged by friends and family to share what I make with the public. And so, “Lyds with Love” was started. Because my items are made by Lyds, with love. Creator of bags and wallets, among other things.

About me: I’m a mother of two girls who keep me busy when they’re not in school. I volunteer with the elementary PTA, and the local SPCA when I’m not creating with my hobbies or taking care of my family. Lately sewing bags, wallets, and home décor items have been my main passion, but I also cross stitch and have been known to dabble in other crafts like crochet, knitting, art, and whatever catches my eye at the moment.
In addition to crafting, I have a bachelors degree in Biology, and a masters in Public Health. I enjoy helping people and have a serious interest in contributing to health education. I also have a strong interest in improving education related to breastfeeding after my own struggles as a mother.
I am additionally an advocate for mental health, as I fight for my own mental balance, I enjoy helping others deal with theirs.
